(The Met is usually closed on Wednesday nights, but it will open on 7-20 for 2 LGBT Parties)

1000 5th Avenue (@ 82nd St), NY, NY -- Enter via the stairs (free event).
(VIP (Paid) entry gets expedited entry at 81st street)

Time:  6:30 - 8:30 pm  (5:30 pm for VIP Members Entry)

We're sorry.  The free tickets are all sold out.  But you can still attend 2 parties that night, not one.
Tickets remain for the pre-event (VIP event / LGBT Members Reception)
Special Guests: Actor Cheyenne Jackson and NYC Council Speaker Christine Quinn.
Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served on the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden and guests will enjoy a private viewing of the exhibition Anthony Caro on the Roof. (weather permitting)

VIP Tickets (Members Reception): $150 Museum Members ($250 non-members, includes 1-year Met membership)
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
Limit: 300 tickets at VIP members reception

Includes the upstairs VIP reception, special guests, viewing of Anthony Caro on the Roof plus
a viewing of Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty and Richard Serra Drawing: A Retrospective -- PLUS

No charge for the Post-Pride LGBT Reception but registration with the Met Museum is required by 7-16.  (Tickets will be limited, but admission is guaranteed to those who buy tickets for the VIP Entry / Members Reception)

This first retrospective of drawings by the contemporary American artist Richard Serra (b. 1939) presents a comprehensive overview of some 40 years of his drawing activity.

ANTHONY CARO ON THE ROOF (VIP Entry / Members Reception only,  weather permitting)
Sculptures by Anthony Caro (b. 1924) -- who is considered the most influential and prolific British sculptor of this generation and a key figure in the development of modernist sculpture over the last sixty years.


The Metropolitan Museum will also offer incentives for those becoming a Museum Member during the event, including free theater tickets (while supplies last).
