YALE STUDENT RESEARCHING LGBT STUDENT
ORGANIZING AT
YALE. Anna Wipfler ('09) is researching the ways in which on-campus lesbian and gay student organizing shaped both student life and the university itself during the 1970s and 80s for her senior essay in Women's Gender & Sexuality Studies. This summer, with funding from the Solomon Fellowship in LGBT Studies, she is contacting alumni interested in sharing their experiences with, or memories of, student organizing around LGB-related issues on campus during that period. Involvement can range from exchanging emails, to arranging a phone interview or in-person interview. In addition to supporting Anna?s research, participants will be invited to donate relevant documents they may have to the Yale Library, thus enhancing the archival resources available for research on LGBTQ history. Please contact Anna at anna.wipfler@yale.edu if you would consider assisting her research on any level, or if you have any advice or questions regarding her project. And please share this announcement to any others who might be interested. Dr. Melodie Rose Winawer ’89 and
Susanna Stein were married at the Yolo County
clerk-recorder’s office in Woodland, Calif. Ava P. Woodard, a
clerk-recorder,
officiated.
Peter Alexander
Budinger ’94 and David Charles
Scarpelli ’95 were married at Bruce Cohen ’83 and Gabriel Catone ’95 were married in a ceremony officiated by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa at Los Angeles City Hall.
