AYA:
Major Expansion of Strategic Focus to Better Serve Alumni. Will create numerous opportunities for alumni activities and vastly better support See http://www.aya.yale.edu/strategicplan/ Connect with Yale in Philadelphia.
March 28, 2009. ALL YALE ALUMNI Yale Alumni Welcome to NYC. Free Food & Drink at
the Yale Club. Step away from your task list, your mountains of e-mail and the other demands of a busy life to think and reflect for a day with other Yale alumni. Those who are interested are invited to begin the day by networking with area alumni and meeting the new Shared Interest Group Directors. All alumni are then invited to expand their personal and career networks during a Networking Luncheon. A mid-morning session with AYA Executive Director Mark Dollhopf '77 will feature the future of alumni relations at Yale. In the afternoon you will hear from the Vice President and Secretary Linda Koch Lorimer '77 LAW, and three of Yale's truly extraordinary faculty – Professors Khalilah Brown-Dean, Marvin Chun, Charles Hill – to find out what is happening as Yale moves boldly into the 21st century, and experience some of the ways in which students are exposed to issues in political science, psychology, and international security.

The tradition of service is rooted in Yale's past... but perhaps it is more relevant today than ever. There are few traditions as important to Yale alumni as service to others. We know you want to give back, not only to Yale, but also to your community. In this spirit of giving, Yale alumni groups around the world are providing the opportunity for you to participate in the first worldwide Yale Day of Service on Saturday, May 16. This will be a day to bring together alumni and their families and friends of all ages in service to your own community - a day when local Yale clubs and other Yale groups can work on service projects where they live, carrying forward Yale's great tradition of service. Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2009 for what promises to be a milestone day for Yale as we collectively embody Yale's great tradition of service to others. You don't want to miss it...this is going to be big! For
