With the holiday season quickly approaching, the Yale Club of San Francisco invites you to join us for our 10th Annual Holiday Party! Food, drinks, music, and entertainment will be provided, so come enjoy the company of other Yale alumni in the Bay Area and get a start on enjoying the 2013 Holidays!
This year's edition will take place at Drake, a trendy gastro-lounge in San Francisco's SoMa district. A variety of light and heavy appetizers will be served, including: Vegetable Samosas, Stuffed Mushrooms, Fresh Spring Rolls, Meatballs, Grilled-out Cheese with Tomato Bisque, Portobello Mushroom Sliders, and Mini Cheeseburger Sliders. In addition, the first 100 people at the party will receive a free drink ticket.
For your entertainment, the Darren Johnston Trio will be playing throughout the evening. In addition, illusionist Nathan Hadsall will be performing a show for us - read more about him below!
Nathan Hadsall has worked as an illusionist for over 10 years and has performed around the world, including Ireland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and New York. He is an expert in the art of deception. While a traditional magician uses sleight of hand, Nathan's particular brand of illusion is called Sleight of Mind because it utilizes body language, misdirection, hypnosis, and little known psychological principles. While he does not claim to be a psychic, you will think he can read your mind. Nathan creates an interactive, personal experience that is both entertaining and astonishing.
