ChamberQU(EE)Rantine: A Digital Pride Month Festival

Join a lineup of the best and brightest LGBTQ+ classical musicians!

Thwarted from presenting their annual in-person festival in Brooklyn, ChamberQU(EER), co-founded by Brian Mummert, YC '09, has instead created ChamberQU(EE)Rantine: A Digital Pride Month Festival to celebrate the amazing legacy and resilience of artists persisting in the face of adversity. Every night at 7 PM EDT from June 5-20, 2020, we'll be live on our Facebook page with a new half-hour program of amazing, award-winning queer artists, presenting a wide variety of musical offerings.

We've even curated two special nights of amazing Yalies and their friends, just for Yale GALA: tune in WednesdayJune 10th and Thursday, June 11th to see performances and conversations featuring Sara Couden MM '14, Emery Kerekes YC '21, Alexis Lamb MM '20, Brian Mummert YC '09, Frances Pollock MM '19 DMA '25, Benjamin Straley MM '10 MDiv '12, and Taylor Ward MMA '13 - plus some supremely talented special guests. Then, join us on Zoom for a chat with our co-founders and guest artists: we want to hear about your reactions to the music, your musical memories from your time at Yale, or anything else you want to share.

Join us, and if you're in a position to help support these music artists, please donate what you can! We've pledged $1500, and we want to match - and exceed - that amount to support our artists as best we can in this extraordinarily challenging time. Here's the link to donate: https://fundraising.fracturedatlas.org/chamberqueer/campaigns/3598

Thank you, and enjoy the festival!
