RIP Larry Kramer (Yale BR '57);

We are sad to report Larry Kramer passed away on May 27, 2020. Larry was a writer, film producer, a founder of GMHC and ACT UP, a public health advocate and received Yale GALA's Lifetime Achievement Award. We hope to have some type of virtual tribute


We are sad to report Larry Kramer (Yale BR '57), passed away on May 27, 2020.  He leaves behind his husband David Webster and a lifetime legacy. 
 
Larry was a writer, film producer, a founder of GMHC (Gay Men's Health Crisis), a co-founder of ACT UP, a public health advocate, the named honoree for the Larry Kramer Initiative for Lesbian and Gay Studies at Yale (2001), donated his papers to Yale's Beinecke Library in 2001 and received Yale GALA's Lifetime Achievement Award (photo - more coming) - plus so much more.
